-Scanner revenue are increasing but an assessment of $2000/section is needed
-$6K of receivables outstanding

4. Chairman/Vice-Chairman's Report - Ron Aasen/Dave Kriegman
4a. Awards Banquet 2000- Ft. Myer Officer's Club deposit made, will also look at Navy Club in Bethesda
4b. RADAR 2000 Seed Money- monies were approved by both Sections and sent to the RADAR 2000 Committee
4c. Sections Congress & Region 2 Meeting - October 8-12, Minneapolis
-attendees Ron Aasen, Satish Aggarwal, Tom Tullia, possible other from NOVA
4c. PACE Conference - September 4-6, Dallas
-no NCAC rep yet, Don Rickerson offers to go
4d. Concentration Banking a Region 2 Initiative
-Treasurer will open a second account and move funds to Mellon Bank under R2
4e. IEEE Millennium Awards due for Sections by Oct
-early submittal needed to screen locally

-2 PACE meeting in July (6 & 27) and 2 in August(14 & 28) scheduled
-New Officer Training will be moved to Fall/Winter with elections

-next issue on schedule
-Ad rates to be compared to like pubs, report in 2 months (Aug)
-members requested looking at increasing number of issues, examine 8 or 10/year
-traditional revenue mix was thirds ads / NOVA / Wash Sec
